What do you do when 4 great people apply for 1 job? Appoint them all!

This is just what happened at Hampshire-based marketing agency, MindWorks, recently when four of the company’s Account Executives applied for an internal Account Manager vacancy. This is an unprecedented move on the company’s part, but well deserved as they had all been working to the higher role on a number of key accounts for some time.

As well as being remarkably effective at their work, Lucy Cropp, Kayleigh Carter, Jenn Hill and Hannah Thomas have given up a lot of their free time during the past year to achieve their well-deserved promotions. They have all undertaken a 10-month bespoke internal training course that focuses on utilising the marketing skills and techniques which are unique to MindWorks. Three of these four talented people have also taken on external training for Chartered Institute of Marketing qualifications (levels 4 and 6) at the same time.

The fourth, Jenn, is about to embark on further training with CIPR, and said, “I’m delighted to have been promoted. I’ve enjoyed working my way up over the past four years and it’s great to be part of a close-knit team with the same passion for excellence as me.”
