The new Mary Rose Museum is our latest national treasure and houses Henry VIII's flagship and over 19,000 artifacts. We were honoured to be asked to create a campaign to launch the new museum including a 30-sec TV ad that will be seen across the South East this summer.
It tells the story of the ship's sinking, her raising, and pays homage to those who have been conserving and working on her artifacts, including the ship’s dog, 'Hatch'. The finale of the ad sees the amazing museum revealed from under a huge Royal Tudor Standard. Emma Harbison, Account Manager, says, "When the Mary Rose was raised, it was the dream of the Trust to put the ship and her contents into a permanent museum. The dedication of those involved has made that dream a reality. To deliver an ad that brings the sensational story to life and does the new attraction justice, we worked closely not just with Portsmouth Historic Dockyard and Mary Rose Trust, but with some of the most talented cameramen, directors, CGI artists and model makers in the country."
