Christmas 2020 – a new way of connecting with clients and WFH colleagues

Christmas is usually the time for office parties and get-togethers with clients to say thank you and to ring in the new year. But this year is going to be a bit different for all of us. Now is the time to start thinking of alternative ways to show your clients how much you appreciate them or help them connect with WFH colleagues. 

If you are looking at sending a hamper of goodies, you had better get on the case now, according to Michelle Leggatt, Managing Director of MindWorks Marketing. Each year, the agency sources, wraps, packs and sends all types of cool corporate swag and traditional hampers from the letterbox-friendly to gargantuan on behalf of its clients.

“We have had to be forward-thinking this year in organising conference and event solutions for clients. Looking ahead to Christmas 2020, we made sure to source our packaging for hampers and other festive gift boxes in good time. Large loads of cardboard tend mainly to be shipped from China and our range of suppliers had warned us that due to COVID-19, there was going to be a shortage of this.

“And as we all follow tight protocols for safe gift-wrapping and delivery, timings are even more important this Christmas.”

Many of the gifts also reflect the current situation, Michelle goes on to say.  “We are curating an interesting variety of Christmas gift ideas to fit with everyone’s new normal. These range from home-office pick-me-ups, luxury treats or practical gifts for safe working, to creating personalised seasonal gift cards branded with each client’s colours, logo and style.”

The virtual party – ideal for a tipple without the need for a designated driver

If you are looking for corporate entertaining ideas or parties with colleagues this Christmas, MindWorks is busy organising bespoke festive parties with a ‘virtual’ twist. Some of its fun ideas include prize quizzes, wine, beer or gin tastings (the best way to have a drink with no driving home involved), celebrity entertainment evenings and interactive online cooking events. Each client’s business can display its branding during the events.
